W379是一种LL-37模拟肽。与LL-37(37个残基)相比,W379仅由8个氨基酸组成(序列:RRRWWWWV-NH2)。W379保持了广谱抗菌活性,同时在多个方面表现出优势,包括独特的两亲性结构以及显著降低的生产成本。在体外伤口愈合实验中,W379肽能够促进皮肤细胞迁移。体内研究表明,纳米纤维气凝胶中的图案化宏观通道能极大地促进血管化肉芽组织的形成,而添加W379不仅能促进血管化肉芽组织的形成,还能促进再上皮化。W379增强伤口愈合可能是由于激活了p38MAPK信号通路。

人工设计的短肽 W379(氨基酸序列:RRRWWWWV)具有广谱抗菌活性,可有效抑制革兰氏阳性和阴性耐药菌及其生物膜,使其成为抗菌及伤口愈合设计中的理想候选物。

W379 is a LL-37 mimetic peptide. Compared to LL-37 (37 residues), W379 comprises only eight amino acids (sequence: RRRWWWWV). W379 maintains a broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity and simultaneously exhibits superiority in several aspects, including a unique amphipathic structure and a significant reduction in production cost. W379 peptide can enhance skin cell migration in an in vitro wound-healing assay. In vivo studies indicated patterned macrochannels in nanofiber aerogels can greatly enhance vascularized granulation tissue formation and the addition of W379 can promote not only vascularized granulation tissue formation but also re-epithelialization. The enhanced wound healing by W379 could be due to the activation of the p38 MAPK signaling pathway.
