C 端酰胺化。贾科梅蒂等人（2006 年）发现，该肽与β-内酰胺类药物联合使用时活性较高。作为 temporin 家族中活性最强的肽，它可能在细胞膜上形成类似孔洞的开口（《生物化学杂志》2002 年；368： 91-100）。通过核磁共振研究发现，在十二烷基硫酸钠（SDS）和十二烷基磷酸钠（DPC）胶束中，其具有螺旋结构（卡罗特努托等人，2008 年，《药物化学杂志》51： 2354-62）。Temporin L 与 temporin A 和 B 具有协同作用，可抑制脂多糖（LPS）聚集（《生物化学杂志》2006 年 9 月 29 日；281(39)： 28565-74）。Temporin L 具有抗菌活性。Temporin L 发现于欧洲普通蛙（Rana temporaria）体内。
C-terminal amidated. Giacometti et al (2006) found that the peptide showed the high activity when used with beta-lactams. As the most active peptide in the temporin family, it may form pore-like openings on cellular membranes (Biochem J 2002; 368: 91-100). A helical structure was found by NMR studies in SDS and DPC micelles (Carotenuto et al. 2008. J Med Chem 51: 2354-62). Temporin L showed synergism with temporins A & B to inhibit LPS aggregation (J Biol Chem. 2006 Sep 29;281(39):28565-74). Temporin L has Antibacterial activity. Temporin L was found in European common frog, Rana temporaria.
